Fee Agreements Guide for CAP and Creators

This guide will walk you through setting up fee agreements between you and creators with whom you have a linking relationship. We will cover two important sections: how to set up a payment account to receive payments and how to establish fee agreements with creators.

How to Link Bank Accounts

Before setting up fee agreements, you must first set up a payment account to receive payments. Follow these steps:

1. On the Partner Center, navigate to Finance > Payment Account. You will see a list of service types you are registered for. Click Link Bank Account to start linking your bank account.
   
2. Select your payout method, and complete the required information and click Continue. Once done, your bank account details will appear on the Payment Account page. If you wish to change your bank account, you can do so from this page as well.
   
   
   

How to Set Up Fee Agreements

As a CAP agency, you need to set up fee agreements with creators you have a linking relationship with. These agreements determine the commission split between you and the creators. When a creator earns a commission, a portion of it will be credited to you based on the agreed terms.

1. On the Partner Center, go to Creators > Fee Agreements. You will see all the creators linked to you.
   
2. To set a commission split with a creator, select Request for that creator. This will prompt you to fill in the following details:
   • Percentage of Commission: Specify the portion of the creator's commission that will serve as your management fee.
   • Valid To: Set the end date for the commission split. This period must not exceed the duration of your linking relationship with the creator.
   • Remarks (Optional): Add any comments for the creator.
   • Attach TikTok Profile (Optional): Enable this to make your TikTok profile visible to the creator.
     
3. Once you submit the request, the creator will receive a notification. They can view the commission details and choose to accept or decline the request.

4. If a creator accepts the request, it will appear under the Agreed tab.
5. To adjust the commission split, click Adjust and update the values. Any changes will require the creator's approval.
