TikTok Shop Affiliate Marketing Policy
This policy is updated periodically. Sellers must check this document regularly to ensure compliance with our current policy.
TikTok Shop reserves the right to make changes to any policy at any time without prior notice. Please review our TikTok Shop Policy Center updates section on TikTok Shop Academy for the most up-to-date policy.
Policy Statements
All individual TikTok Shop sellers and creators are required to comply with this policy.Affiliate Marketing
This policy defines Affiliate Marketing as a commission-based relationship between sellers and the creators promoting their products. Affiliate Marketing offers the following:- Sellers can engage creators to promote products that qualify for Affiliate Marketing on the seller's behalf. The promoted products are considered "Affiliate Products."
- Creators can search for a specific seller's Affiliate Products to promote and earn commission.
- TikTok Shop may recommend specific seller's Affiliate Products to creators for promotion.
Accessing Affiliate Marketing
The Affiliate Marketing page can be found in the Seller Center under the Affiliate tab.- Sellers must consistently meet our Affiliate Marketing Qualification Criteria to use Affiliate Center and its features.
- TikTok Shop reserves the right to restrict user Affiliate Center access or remove Affiliate products if our Affiliate Marketing Qualification Requirements are not met, or if we reasonably believe that our Seller Terms of Service, the law, or any applicable policies or guidelines have been violated.
Affiliate Marketing Collaborations
Affiliate Marketing Plans are commission plans that sellers can use to engage creators to promote their Affiliate Products. Sellers can choose from one of the following Affiliate Collaborations:| Type | Description |

Affiliate Marketing Disqualification Criteria
Product Disqualification Criteria
When a product is disqualified from Affiliate Marketing, the product's seller will not be able to create new Affiliate Marketing Collaborations associated with the disqualified product.A product may be disqualified from the Affiliate Marketing program in the following scenarios:
- Low product ratings from buyers
- High return rates due to seller-fault reasons
- Customer complaints submitted to our customer support team
Shop Disqualification Criteria
If a shop is disqualified from the Affiliate Marketing program, its seller will no longer be able to create new Affiliate Marketing collaborations for that shop, and any existing collaborations tied to the shop will no longer be eligible to generate orders.A shop may be disqualified from the Affiliate Marketing program if its Shop Performance Score falls below the required standard.
Policy Compliance
Compliance with TikTok Shop policies is required. TikTok Shop reserves the right to review an approved seller or creator account and any related documents to the account at any time.TikTok Shop monitors seller compliance through a wide range of business tools, including but not limited to internal and external audits, in-app reporting, and algorithmic detection.
Non-Compliance
It is at the sole discretion of TikTok Shop to determine when sellers and creators are in violation of this policy and subsequently to take appropriate enforcement actions, including but not limited to, violation points.Non-compliance with this policy, including but not limited to attempts to circumvent the stated policy/process by bypassing or knowingly manipulating the process, system, or data, may result in enforcement actions, as set forth in the TikTok Shop Seller Enforcement Policy and/or the TikTok Shop Creator Performance Evaluation Policy. Please note that repeated violations may result in stricter enforcement actions.
