This document sets out the requirements for auctions on TikTok Shop. These rules are designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and safe experience for all users, thereby protecting the integrity of the platform.

• These requirements apply to both sellers and creators.
• Auctions on TikTok Shop must be conducted through TikTok Shop's LIVE Auction.
• Auctions are permitted only for categories that TikTok Shop expressly allows. Auctions for unsupported categories are prohibited.

Auctions

An auction is a sale where items are sold to the highest bidder. Customers place bids, and when the auction ends, the item is sold to the customer with the highest bid.

Permitted Auction

Auctions on TikTok Shop are permitted only for categories that TikTok Shop expressly allows. Auctions for unsupported categories are prohibited.
All live bidding must be run using TikTok Shop's LIVE Auction. LIVE Auction is a real-time, interactive shopping format where sellers can sell auction-listed items during LIVE and set a starting bid price. Viewers can then bid a specific price for the item and the highest bidder wins the right to purchase the product at the bidded price.
Any auctions or related activities conducted outside the LIVE Auction Feature are not allowed. Misuse of the LIVE Auction Feature is also prohibited.
TikTok Shop prohibits behaviors that undermine platform integrity. Creators engaging in such activities may, at TikTok Shop's discretion, lose access to auction-related features.

Cancellation Rules for Auction Orders

Customers may cancel an order without the seller's approval if:

• The shipping type is Ship by TikTok and the order status has not changed to "To Ship - Awaiting Collection."
• The shipping type is Ship by Seller and a cancellation request is made less than one hour from the time of ordering during the "Pending" period, and after cancellation request is made and the order status has not changed to "To Ship - Awaiting Collection" after 1 calendar day.

Customers cannot cancel an order if the status of the order is in "Ready to Ship" status.

Auction Protection

Auction Protection is a platform-level safeguard for auction orders. It gives buyers a clear path to support valid non-buyer issues while preserving the finality of auction wins. Refunds without returns and speedy refunds are not applicable for auction returns.
Seller responsibility:

• Defective item
• Item doesn't match description
• Wrong item was sent
• Fabric, material or style not as expected
• Item arrived damaged. Example: item is dented, scratched or shattered.
• Package received but missing item
• Color or pattern not as expected
• Item arrived too late

The shipping type is Ship by TikTok, these will be TikTok responsibility; if it is Ship by Seller, these will be seller responsibility:

• Package wasn't received
• Package arrived damaged. Example: spilled liquid, damaged box

Buyer responsibility (Buyers need to pay reverse shipping fee for buyer responsibility reasons):

• No longer needed (Buyer cannot initiate return this return reason, but Customer Service agent can help with the initiation)
• Item doesn't fit

Eligibility for Auction Access

The LIVE Auction Feature is available to invite-only sellers and creators who need to meet all of the following criteria:
For Sellers:

• The seller has received approval to be an invite-only seller (contact your account manager to learn more)
• Account Health Rating (AHR) > 150
• Shop Performance Score >= 4.2 (SPS = Null means unqualified)
• Product Satisfaction Score >= 4.2
• The seller is not under Temporary Account Restriction Requirements
• Seller does not violate Intellectual Property Policy
• Seller does not violate Prohibited Products Policy

For Creators:

• Creator Health Rating (CHR) > 150
• Official account or channel account creators
• Creator does not engage in potentially manipulative or deceptive activity (see Creator Enforcement Policy).

Temporary Auction Products

A Temporary Auction is a fast way to add products to a LIVE session. These listings are temporary and will not sync to TikTok Shop stores. Once the LIVE session ends, the listing is removed. If the same product is featured in a future LIVE session, a new Temporary Auction must be created.Sellers are responsible for ensuring each Temporary Auction accurately represents the product offered for sale. The following are required:

• Product listed and sold matches the selected category and sub-category
• Product information (for example, title, images, brand, condition, etc.) is accurate and not misleading
• Product shown or described during LIVE matches the product in the Temporary Auction
• No false or inaccurate information in the listing or associated LIVE content

Eligibility for Temporary Auction Access

Temporary Auction access is available only to eligible invite-only sellers and creators who meet the following requirements:For Sellers:

• The seller has received approval to be an invite-only seller (contact your account manager to learn more)
• Account Health Rating (AHR) > 150
• Shop Performance Score >= 4.2 (SPS = Null means unqualified)
• Product Satisfaction Score >= 4.2
• The seller is not under Temporary Account Restriction Requirements
• Seller does not violate Intellectual Property Policy
• Seller does not violate Prohibited Products Policy

For Creators:

• CHR > 150

Countdown bidding can be used in both LIVE Manager on PC and in the app. TikTok Shop reserves the right to remove access to this feature at any time. For more details on access and enablement, refer to the LIVE Auction.

Enforcement Actions and Appeals

We regularly review shops for compliance with this document, our Gambling Policy. If any violations are identified, TikTok Shop may take enforcement action at our sole discretion. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Deducting points from your Account Health Rating
• Removing product listings
• Revoking your access to offer products for sale
• Issuing refunds to customers
