Account Trading
This policy establishes the rules governing account ownership of sellers on the Tiktok Shop platform.Systems security and integrity
Trading of (or otherwise dealing with third party, with the intention of cancelling the true beneficiary of Your Account or in otherwise dishonest manners, in relation to) Your Account.Selling or transferring (or putting up for sale or facilitating the transfer of) Your Account to any third party;
Opening or using more accounts than reasonable (or permitted).
Distributing viruses or any other technology that are intended or may reasonably be expected to harm the interests of TikTok Shop, any TikTok Affiliates, or Users.
- Using any bot, spider, scraper, data mining or extraction tools, or any other automated means of access to the Platform or the TikTok Shop unless you have our express written permission to do so.
- Undertaking any act which is intended or may reasonably be expected to interfere with the normal running of the TikTok Shop or the Platform.
- Circumventing any technical protection or security measure , we apply to the TikTok Shop or the Platform or any other of ours or TikTok Affiliate'ssystems. Providing a review or procuring others to provide reviews on competitor Products where the review functionality is made available.
- Any attempt to direct Users/Buyers to non-authorized landing pages (including without limitation invalid landing pages, landing pages asking Users/Buyers to input personal information to proceed and which cannot be skipped and landirng pages automatically downloading files to a User's/Buyer's computer)
Seller Terms of Service
Account Ownership
- Each seller account, once onboarded, is registered to a specific individual or business entity verified through our Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
- The platform recognizes the original KYC-verified registrant as the sole legitimate owner of the account.

- The owner of the account must be in control of their account and not share login information with anyone else that is not an employee the shop.
Prohibition of Account Trading
- Buying, selling, or transferring seller accounts (collectively referred to as “account trading”) is strictly prohibited. If you wish to transfer ownership, refer to our Shop ownership change process
- Shop Ownership Change Process Eligibility Criteria. Before you can change the ownership of your shop, you will have to fulfill the following criteria Shop Status is "normal" - this means that your shop is not deactivated and you have not requested shop closure. No ongoing withdrawal requests
- In addition, farming or mass creation of seller accounts for the purpose of sale is not tolerated.
- Account trading compromises the security and integrity of our marketplace and may expose users to scams or financial losses.
- Any user found to have participated in account trading—whether as buyer, seller, or intermediary, may face penalties
Enforcement Actions and Appeals
We regularly review sellers for compliance with our policies. If violations are identified, we will take enforcement actions on your shop. This may include, but is not limited to:- Assigning violation points
- Removing product listings
- Revoking your access to offer products for sale
- Issuing refunds to customers
- Permanent account ban or access restriction
- Shop closure
- Stricter probation limitations
- Order volume limitations
- Listing limitations
- Re-verification or additional materials to be collected for identity verification
- Withholding or forfeiture of funds from both the account buyer and account seller (details in section 5 below)
- Blocking of related accounts or devices from the platform
- Reporting of fraudulent activity to relevant authorities where applicable
Fund Handling and Retention
- Information submitted during the dispute process [link]

- Credential operation history

- Payout history
- Conversation history with buyers (IMs)
- Customer service tickets
- Other pertinent information
Identity Match Compliance (Zero-Tolerance Policy)
TikTok Shop enforces a zero-tolerance policy requiring the bank account holder's name to match exactly the business name or individual name provided during your initial Seller Center onboarding. Any mismatch will prevent successful linking and payout.Finance & Settlement Overview
Withholding Balance
In cases where we determine that the seller's account has engaged in deceptive, abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, we reserve the right to permanently withhold some or all funds from their account. These funds may include platform-funded incentives (such as shipping and promotional subsidies) previously provided to the seller within the past 365 days.We reserve the right to take further enforcement actions in accordance with our policies and Seller Terms of Service.
Seller Enforcement Policy
Notification Of Violation
We will inform sellers of any violation via email and your Seller Center Inbox. We may use additional channels to inform you, depending on the nature of the violation. We will also inform sellers via the same channels when your AHR is 10 points away from the next milestone.Appeal
Depending on the violation, you may be able to appeal an enforcement action. Appeals must be filed through the Seller Center. We will investigate the case and take corrective actions where applicable. All decisions are made at our sole discretion.❗Submitting an appeal does not guarantee approval. It only ensures a careful review of your evidence. We may also review your account history and risk profile if they are relevant to the violation.- You are limited to two appeals per violation. All decisions made by us after the second appeal are final.
- You must file your first appeal within 30 days of being notified of the violation. If your appeal is rejected, you can file a second one within 15 days. We will not review any appeals raised after these timelines.
- If your appeal is successful, we will remove any enforcement actions taken and restore any privileges withdrawn.
- It is your sole responsibility to collect, prepare, and upload all supporting documentation supporting your appeal. We may request additional information, if necessary.
